Anyone purchase Dells 19' mainstream TFT, now reduced to 299?

    this was 349euro last week, they also have the Ultra Sharp for 388, was thinking of getting the 299 one, anyone for a quick review, iam testing a cheap 19' at present and i aint impressed with it , TEXT is a little blurred, and is actually alot more blurred toward the center of the TFT!!!!!!!
    Its not GFX card as i have quite a good one!!

    theres an auto adjust button the screen, press it.

    try manually adjusting the clock & clock phase

    Are you running the monitor at it's recomended resolution? TFTs are not like CRTs when it comes to resolutions, they have an optimal setting where text is crisp and if you start playing around with it, it can get distorted..

    well this is the thing about teh text.......it aint crisp.............anyway, i think its going back, i will try another...
    I see Komplette have a couple of samsung 19' monitors for 329-349!

    What resolution are you using?

    Like SickBoy said no matter what TFT you have text can look crappy if you are running at the wrong resolution.

    We use the 17" version in work (in Dell). Not too bad. Have the ultrasharp 19" at home and tbh, i don't notice the difference besides the size
