Tribeca disconnections, or just VC?

    VC had a major outage about 25-30 minutes ago with most people disconnected for a minute or so, but others for up to a minute longer. Is this occurring with all Tribeca sites, which I'd imagine is the case, or just VC? According to some in the lobby it's the fourth time in a week, and I've certainly experienced some similar events in the recent past, though I haven't been keeping track.

    It's highly annoying and predictably the lobby is full of people whining with 'OMG I LOST MY ROYAL FLUSH £"%*%^ GIVE ME 100 DOLLARS!!1!!

    I was three handed in an stt at the time and got back in before the other two, with the result that their blinds were being folded around to me and when I was posting the sb, a raise made the BB mine too. However, I felt too guilty about this and started letting my blinds time out before I did any real damage.

    The powers that be have to be making enough from this venture to ensure that the infrastructure is capable of providing interruption free service, surely the fundamental requisite of an online poker site. Disregarding the temporary outages, the client seems to run slowly of late, especially when multi-tabling, but this could of course be down to the technology on my end. Has anyone else experienced something similar, i.e. stuttering behaviour, even scrolling the list of tournaments being a stop-start affair?

    it happened to me on VC in a MTT couple of nights ago, everyone on the table got kicked for about 2 mins.

    Concerning again is the fact that the buddy list aint been working for a week now on VC and PPP

    I was playying an MTT on laddies one night and this happened but it stayed down and none could get back in. I was running in third at the time and it had been a big field with a €20 buyin so I was pretty disgusted. Within 24 hours they had stuck almost double the prize money I would have got for finishing third into my account. I was happy enough with that outcome.

    yep, ppp was affected at that time.

    Hey Pit-Boss, thanks for the apology but can you explain why it seems to happen on a regular basis? It's almost always at least once a week sometimes more, and always around the same time. Surely with the money being made the infrastructure should be put in place to ensure relisency of service.

    In the long run it will cost money as players will stop playing on the Tribeca network and move to other sites, I've seen it happen alreay with some players I know.

    On another note can you explain why customers can't avail of the current promotion more than once? Surely once you hit the PPP points total you should be able to register again for the next 5000 points, I know it's just the equivalent of giving a rakeback deal, but in terms of customer satisfaction it could be worth a lot of money to you in the long run.
