region settings on dvd rom drive

    I want to watch an R1 dvd on my laptop but naturally it's set to R2. Now if I change the setting I'll only have 1 more switch left, so I'd rather avoid that.

    Is there any software that will bypass my region settings so I can play R1 dvd's without messing with the amount of settings changes I have?

    Get anydvd or dvd region free, but none of them are free tho they offer free trials so u can watch it but only within 30 days!

    OR

    If you feel upto the challenge you could search for a hacked firmware for your dvd rom drive which makes it region free, can go wrong tho

    download that player, and use it, COMPLETELY ignores region locks, and plays every video format too :rolleyes:
