Nitelink Operating Sunday 31st July 2005

Dublin Bus are please announce that a nitelink service will operate at 1230 and 0200 on Sunday 31st July on the following nitelinks:

From College Street: 7N, 46N, 48N, 49N, 77N

From D'olier Street: 41N, 42N, 31N

From Westmoreland Street: 40N, 39N, 51N, 67N, 70N.

The normal Monday Nitelink services will apply on Monday 01st August 2005.

Bus Éireann Travel Arrangements - August Holiday Weekend

Bus Éireann gears up for one of its busiest weekends of the year. Fares Promotions continue over Bank Holiday Weekend

Bus Éireann expects to carry in the region of 200,000 passengers on long-distance and provincial bus services throughout the country during the August holiday weekend, from Friday 29 July to Tuesday 2 August inclusive.

Value for Money Fares – Special Offers

Bank Holiday weekend travellers can avail of a wide range of attractive fare promotions and special offers, which will continue this August Bank Holiday weekend. Bus Éireann is offering single fares to Cork and Belfast for just €7 single and €12 return. Customers can also make savings by booking online – Bus Éireann is offering a 10% discount on ticket prices for online purchases of selected National tickets and Day Tours.

Bank Holiday Weekend Travel Arrangements

On Friday 29 and Saturday 30 July Bus Éireann services will operate on normal weekday timetables, with additional buses as required to cater for extra passengers on all major routes.

On Sunday 31 July services generally will operate as on Sundays with some alterations.

On Monday 1 August services generally will operate as on Sundays with some alterations, and extra services to cater for people returning to the main centres on Monday evening. Normal weekday services will resume on all routes on Tuesday 2 August.

Owing to the increased traffic expected on the roads, customers are advised to travel as early as possible and to allow additional time when making journeys which involve connections between routes.

Fare Promotions on selected routes and Online Bookings Discount Continue this August Bank Holiday weekend

Passengers travelling with Bus Éireann this holiday weekend can avail of the ongoing Bus Éireann fare promotions on the following routes.

Dublin/Cork: €7 single / €12
Dublin/Belfast: €7 single / €12
Dublin/Drogheda: €5 single
Drogheda and Dundalk / Belfast: €7 single/ €12 return
Bus Éireann’s Internet Bookings Promotion also continues this August Bank Holiday Weekend, which offers customers a 10% discount on ticket prices for online purchases of selected National tickets and Day Tours.
