Galway 300 freezeout had 132 players.
Total payout €39,600. 13 players finished In.The.Money. Total amount of chips in play 1,056000.
Again another dissappointing event for the Dubs with Dave Masters the only Dub to get a result from the 20 or so that travelled. Clare man Keith Mc Inerny took the trophy only after splitting the cash with Tommy Tiernan (just back from the Montreal festival)
    Results for final table.

1st. Keith Mc Inerny (Clare) €10,250
    2nd Tommy Tiernan (Galway) €10,250
    3rd Martin Wall (Cork) € 5,000
    4th Tommy Watson (Athlone) € 3,250
    5th Sean Kavanagh (carlow) €2,500
6th Mick "the trout" (Galway) €2,000
    7th James Walshe (Galway) €1,500
    8th John Honan (Galway) €1,250
    9th Dave Masters (Dublin) €1000

Pokerevents is back in Galway on the 31st August with the Irish Poker Championship.

lol :D brilliant karlh. that was the equivillent of a check raise!!

i think they should arrange a heads up between tommy and ken and then a 5 minute comedy heads up slot. kens one liners hold a bit of clout, remember the lottery adds he used do in his pajamas where he scratches wins and then goes "straight in the pocket" as he winks. hes got comedy timing ken does.
