I know the International bar do something like that. Also a guy called Jazzman always posts on here talking about The Legal Eagle and their open mic night.

Bill is right there Jazzman is always enthusiastic to get new people, if you dig deep enough into the archive of this forum you'll find his threads, might give you details or you can go the direct route and pm him.

The Mezz on Mondays - great buzz, and a lot of talented people out there!

There used to be one in Sinnotts on sundays but I am not sure if it's still on, went once to it and the sound was terrible so I didnt bother going again. Might check it out this sunday though. Ya never know!

Cant remember which night it's on in Dorans...

cheers again but has anyone got a number for these places or can you just walk in on the night and play?

For the Mezz ya just go in, you dont even have to bring in your guitar (unless you're a lefty), ya just walk in and ask Ro or Fiach to put your name on the list. You usually get to play 2 tunes unless it's late and busy, in which case you'll only get to play one.
For Sinnotts I think it's the same system, but I cant remember yer man's name.
