    Hey y'all,

I am lazy and not the most organised chap when it comes to CDs & DVDs. I have many CDs and DVDs lying around the place that I want to organise. They are all computer stuff -> OSes, Drivers, Software, games, backups etc. I am trying to think of the best way for me to store my discs so that I can access them quickly and easily if I am fixing a computer or generally working on my computer etc. I was think of just putting splitting them up into -> System Discs/Drivers, Apps, Audio/Video, Misc. What do you recommend or use to hold your dics?

Big 128 CD/DVD cases are my favourite option.

I have seen 256 Disc holders as well...haha.

They are the most convenient choice IMHO.

I just got a program there about 2 weeks ago.. Advanced Disk Catalog.
You stick in the CD and it reads everything on it.
Then it is added to a database kinda thing.. which you can search etc.

err...kinda OT too but it will help you find and archive those cd's/dvds that you don't know exactly whats on them.

I bought a 240 disc wallet thing in soundstore in Oliver Plunkett St., Cork today. €14.99, I thought it was Ok for it. Bought 25 Datasafe DVD+Rs for €11.99 too, which I think is ok for a bricks and mortar shop.

Disclaimer: I think Soundstore is normally the most over priced place to buy computer equipment, but I think those two things were good. The staff tend to be ignorant and obnoxious at the best of times.
