Just received an email this morning from Pigsback saying they have a two for one offer on UCI Cinema tickets, so you get 2 people into a flick for €8.75 Mon - Fri.

You buy the tickets online with Laser or credit card and they post them out to you. The offer is up until the 17th of August so if the 2 tickets I ordered for €17 this morning works out I'll deffo be ordering more!! There was no mention as to how long the tickets are actually valid for, I'm hoping it will say it on them.

i find uci a rip off in general, €8.75 compaired to €6.80 in ugc.

    much nicer cinema too.

not a bad deal though, even if it is mid week.

€6.80, that's only the afternoon matinee price (€6.75 in UCI), It is €8.70 in UGC for an evening adult ticket. Although that unlimited card thing is a great offer.

All cinemas that i know if charge this sort of price these days so its true to say that all cinemas are rip offs these days.

Ster Century (now VUE) in Liffey valley is €9.30 though the cinema is vastly superior to any UCI i have been to. Dont know about UGC, not been there.. only when it was Virgin and they had TINY screens.

UGC is the best cinema, and the best prices too imo.

    I think it's only €6 a ticket before mid-day?

Plus, the unlimited card is excellent. :)

I got a couple of these vouchers from pigsback and arrived today...they are valid until 31 May 2006!

They dont specify certain times other than off peak Mon-thurs but its not bad for 8.75 for 2 tickets all the same!
