I wouldn't exctly call them punk kings. I'd probably call them kings of So-Cal punk alright, but not overall punk kings ;)

The Process of Belief was a very big let down of a record though, although I still love that broken song.

I love nearly all their albums like No Control, How Could Hell Be any Worse?, Suffer and No Substance :)

True, very true. I love Bad Religion, first band I ever really fell in love with, twas the first time I ever listened to No Control which did that! I still buy their albums, just out of hope. I think their last great album was Generator, after that everything was just average.
They did rawk, now they're just middle aged men (except the drummer) playing average guitar music imo!

They probably have two albums left in them max IMO,

They completly stole The Swinging Utters sound with "...and out come the wolves"

I've always hated them, the fact that people think they are street punx because they listen to rancid...... blarg *rant*

And when you compare Operation Ivy to rancid, rancid sound mother****ing ****e!

I'm not sure if i said this already but did you ever notice how rancid kinda ripped off The Swingin' Utters sound with .......and out come the wolves?

I have to hand it to Tim Armstrong. He started Operation Ivy, Downfall, Dancehall Crashers, Rancid and Transplants and he runs 2 record labels. He writes and produces for several bands which I'm sure none of us have even heard of. He's made movies and directs loads of music videos as well as doing photography for most of the bands on his label Hellcat. He's been in music since the 80's. hahaha he probably only has 2 albums left in him???????????????

I like him a lot because of Operation Ivy but I hate him because of Rancid so it kind of evens out.

Ian MacKaye also started his own label, been in countless bands and he's just been a really great promoter of punk music.
