Since I started looking on the boards I've been introduced to many guitar brands that I never heard of before like the Tokai and G&L...Just wondering if there are any more quality 'copies' that I don't know about. So far it's:

    FENDER STRAT
    G&L

    GIBSON LP
    Toaki
    Burny (same as Fernandes?)
Tokai (same as burny & Fernandes??? Same factory I think)
    Heritage
    Orville (by Gibson)

I would not touch Quicksilver guitars or any Ed Roman product with a 20ft barge pole.

Burny and Fernandes do have the same owners. Tokai have nothing to do with them ownership wise.

    Copy brands:

    LP
    Edwards by Esp
    1970s Ibanez
    1970s Fernandes
    Epiphone Elitist + Japan
    Greco

    Es 335
    Washburn
    Ibanez
    Epiphone Elitist + Japan

There are seriously far too many to list.

I suppose what I was interested in was high quality alternatives to the usual fender strat/LP marques. Just that it's been an eye-opener realising that the Japanese make some real quality alternatives...
