I have no experience hardware and I would like to add a Tv Card to my PC. I was just wondering is it hard to install and could somebody recommend a good model/brand?

Well there are 2 flavours of TV card, PCI and USB, I dunno how much u know about computer but a USB on obviously is external and plugs into your USB port, PCI cards involve your case to be opened and the TV card inserted into a free PCI slot. after that the software installation is a doddle for most TV cards.

With Hauppage's Wintv series of cards you cant go wrong really.

I got a NVTV tv-tuner-capture card, which works fine for me.

You can view/record, and it is done in hardware, so the cpu usage is around 3-10%, whereas with a software capture card, your cpu uses most of it's power in the encoding, and you can't do much else at the same time. :)
