ALDI 17in monitor

Just caught a glimpse of this in next weeks RTE Guide:

ALDI will have a 17in LCD monitor for 219
and a Desktop for 749 (from memory P4 3.06Ghz, 250GB HD wireless keyboard & mouse etc)

No more details as yet I'm afraid -C

They still have the previous one on display in ALDI parnell st. Can highly recommend it!!

Yeah I got one of those back in may too, Intel Centrino 1.73ghz/1gig ram/100gig HD/nvidia 6600go 128MB with a nice wide screen and a bag thrown in too. Its the shizzle.

It's €1499, so may be a bit high end for ya. You might be better off with the Dunnes Stores Fujitsu Siemens (€699), with WiFi and DVDwriter afaik.
