    Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to shut down a PC remotely using XP's Remote Desktop Connection?

I have 2 PCs at home and 1 screen. I'd like to be able to shut down the PCs without having to swap the VGA cable.

Yes you can, or could use the shutdown command line, or maybe use pstools

Yes, you can do it by either using bazH's methods, or in Remote Desktop Alt-F4 on the desktop or Ctrl-Alt-End and select 'Shut Down > Turn Off' from the menu (shut down is not available on the start menu in Remote Desktop.)

You can make it available through Group Policy. :)
