Sorry about posting this here, but the web hosting forum doesn't allow posts and I couldn't think of a better place for it. Mods please move it if you can think of a more suitable forum, or delete it if you just don't want it here.

anyway, I'm looking into getting some webhosting and a .com domain, and a friend recommended godaddy.com as a decent no-frills place for a cheap deal. I don't really know a hell of a lot about what to look for, so I thought I'd ask here first.

There are the 3 packages available, and because it's my first site, and it's a pretty small one I was planning on going for the first package (I may upgrade it if I can at a later date).
The site will basically be the one I have linked below (me online), with a few bits and bobs extra. I use wsftp to upload, and I imagine that won't cause any trouble.
I'm not looking for a forum or blog or any of that stuff, so is it a good deal? Is there anything missing that I'd need for my site (i have it in mind to run a series of podcasts in the near future and that will include an RSS feed, again.. something I know little about ATM)?

Would I be better paying the extra and going for a higher package, and if anyone here has any experience with godaddy, can I upgrade my hosting at a later date?

    Thanks for your help,
    Adam

Looks like it'll do the job.

Go for the linux option, I've never heard of an ASP blog (mostly because I've never looked, all the famous ones are PHP).
There are a few problems that could occur but you'd only know about them by using the service (server slowing down due to high usage, downtimes, timeouts, etc).

    Other than that, looks good.
