Not quite something for sale here, but thought this'd be the best place to get some good advice on buying and fitting a new cd/dvd/tv/radio unit into my car.

I've bin debating the sense in buying a new unit for ages now, but reckon I'll have to bite the bullet and just fork out the cash, problem is that there seems to be loadsa options, loadsa models, loadsa shops and loadsa money!

I want an all in one DIN sized unit, with a flip out screen, that'll play DVD's and CD's as well as tune into TV and radio- I've found one on besecure2000.com for €899, but before I hand over the cash, I was hoping to pick your brains to find out if this is too much to pay, or a good bargain? Should I just buy each of the units separately and wire them all up? Will I have to fork out more for a TV antenna, extra cables etc? Is there anywhere else you'd recommend- should I just buy in from the UK, but will the TV tuner work here?

As you can see lads, plenty of questions with few answers, hope you can gimme a quick bit of advice, as I said, I'm pretty sure I'll fork out for the one I found but thought I'd check to see if it was a bad move!

    Thanks in advance

hope you did not spend your cash yet. on ebay.de you can save yourself a lot of money. i am getting an in dash monitor myslef off a german ebay shop for 125 incl. delivery. the same unit on besecure ,the oma v-007 is 310 euro, what a rip-off.i have a jvc 6101 hu which plays dvd and am getting in dash screen to go with it as i have a free din slot.i would have bought the above unit myself and could have saved myself about 100 euro if i spotted it.this unit is 450 excl. del. http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4563680168 .search german ebay yourself for a seller with a good rating and who replies to your queries and you should be fine.

i am getting this one here http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=38775&item=4564617694&rd=1
i got it for 105 in auction plus 20 delivery.i had to send the first one back as it was faulty .the screen powered on but could not access menu or show video signal. he has sent me out a replacement today.cost me 30 to send back but i guess i was just very unlucky as he has very good feedback.its just a basic screen with two rca video inputs and 12v power connnector, but it will suit my hu fine.
