    Hi,

    I got a new computer to replace my old one. The interanl ip adress for my old one was 192.168.0.100, for my laptop is 192.168.0.101, and now the ip for this computer is 192.168.102.

    I want to make the ip of this computer 192.168.0.100 so that i can use all my firewall and router port forwading settings instead of having to change them all.

    Is there an easy way or how do u do it at all??

    Thanks

    Start-> Control Panel -> Network Connections -> Select your adaper -> Properties -> TCP/IP -> Properties,

    Change your IP there.

    Assuming you have XP or 2k

    Make sure the Subnet Mask is set the same as the others (probably 255.255.255.0), and also the default gateway.

    Then reboot.
