Anyone know what this is - "winmouse.exe"?

It has a memory footprint of 6,532; filesize is 20,480b, and it's in c:\windows\system.

    Application info:
    Company "Lione"
    Internal name "setup"
    Original filename "setup.exe"
    Version "1.0.0"

Running on a Dell Insp 9300, XP Home SP2.

    Can you kill it?

Do you have a non-standard mouse?

I have a logitech specific program that runs at boot time.

A google for "lione" and "mouse" hits on animal research, which would make me nervous about its intentions. It's also exactly 20KB in size 20 * 2 ^ 10 = 20480. That would make me nervous too.

Standard USB mouse. Yes, I can kill it, with no obvious effect to system or mouse usage... let's see.

Just ran it manually - got "Runtime error '53': File not found".

Innocuous, but for the Windows AntiSpyware Notice: "The Internet Explorer URL for your Start Page is attempting to be changed from about:blank to http:\\www.sogooogle.com."

I'm running Norton Internet Security (incl anti-spyware), Spybot SnD, MS Anti-spyware beta, and manually scanning with Lavasoft Adaware - and none of them picked this up :)
