Ebay drop shop in Ireland

Just came across this in the Sunday Tribune today. Ireland's first Ebay drop shop has been set up. These are all the rage in America and I never thought I'd see one here but fair play to the guy for giving it a go.

Anyone see a market for this here or would you use such a service?

One flaw I see with the Irish version is that they pick up the product rather than the person drop it off.. Not a problem for the customer but the cost and time element driving around Dublin might make it hard for them to actually make money.

Was wondering who linked to this, just came across boards.ie in the site stats!

The guys setting it up are mates of mine and I'm doing the site for them (yeah, I know, it still needs a lot of work).

I reckon they'll make a go of it tbh, I've already got them to sell some stuff for me out of sheer laziness about listing on ebay rather than an inability to use the site myself.

When will these guys be open for business?

Nice. I suppose its just online, that the reason why you collect as you've no premises?
