Pokerstars Query

    Just set up an account there with pokerstars (to see if its any better than bingo, I mean PPP!)

    Anyway tried to lodge some cash in it and it seems like its pretty hard to do.

    Ive no VISA so I lodged money in my PPP account with my laser card, but (obviously) Pokerstars won't accept an Irish laser card. I tried setting up a neteller account, and though that was successful, its still really awkward having to transfer money from my bank into neteller and then from that into stars.

    Other than getting a VISA card or doing a bank draft, is there any easier way of putting money in the account?

    I dont think so.....its get a visa or Loads of hassle I am afraid.Why dont you try Ladbrooks,Oscar was telling us a while ago that they have a card and you can lodge cash into your account in any Ladbrooks shop.

    Sorry I could not be more help...I dont play much these days on Pokerstars.

    Or if you have a mate with a Visa just give him the cash and ask him if you can use his card.

    not much you can do Rory other than persevere with neteller or get a Visa card with a low limit just for poker deposits. You will find that not many other sites accept laser, the only other ones I know of are Betfair and Ladbrokes.

    If you know someone with a Pokerstars account already, give him the cash and get him to do an internal player cash transfer.
