Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

can anyone remember the website where you could type in the name of a band and it would give you similar bands that you might be interested. It showed all the associated bands in circles. somone recommended it on here a couple of months ago but i cant seem to find it.

http://www.music-map.com/ is what I think you're looking for.

not the exact site i was looking for but does a similar job. The site i was looking for represented the band names in an easier to view manner with circles used to represent the bands and the bigger or closer the circle the more relevant it was. It also gave info on the bands like discography ect just by hovering over the bands name.

    thanks for that site anyway

www.allmusic.com is another great site. It gives details on all the bands and discographies, reviews, samples and bands that are similar to your query, bands that influenced them and bands influenced by them. You have to register to use it properly but it's free to join. I highly recommend it.
