Yep, Ibanez deliver the goods. Consider also LTD by ESP. What's your budget, if you don't mind me asking?

Certainly very good. My friend has one and it's lovely. Only 250 aswell I think..

I recently bought a crazy cheap Ibanez and it's lovely in every way...sound & lookwise.

bassist in Mike Got Spiked plays an Ibanez methinks, although not cheap, it's certainly a lovely bass.

BTB. Nice instruments but the Bartolini pickups in it a horrible IMO.

Sorry, BTB. I'm only up :o

And you call yourself a mode... nah, that's ok Fey, we won't hold it against you :D

I don't call myself anything. Except "Jim" but that's only on weekends.

Actually, I must get myself a nice wee bass. Recommend me something for about €250-€200, 4, 5 or 6 string.

    It's fretless. I can't play fretless :(

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 11,848 ✭✭✭✭Doctor J

Fret it and document the fretting process and post it up here. :)

Hmmm, that's an option. A silly one but an option.

Or I could just get a Fretted 6 string

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 11,848 ✭✭✭✭Doctor J

Well, you could do that, I suppose :D

About €450 shipped, taxed and cased as far as I can reckon...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 11,848 ✭✭✭✭Doctor J

    Not worth it. No sir.

Especially when you could get an Ibanez BTB-405QM HS for about the same money.
