    If you have a DVD player, then you should have something with it to watch dvd's on.....

    .....Media Player plays them, as long as you have the codecs

    Mplayer or Xine. Both ignore region encoding on dvds. :)

    What operating system? VLC couldn't be simpler on Windows. It can be a bit of a bitch to get it up and running OK on Linux but that's another story.

    are you using windows xp yeah? it's crap the way they don't have an inbuilt dvd codec. but if you got a dvd drive i'm sure you must have got something bundled.no?
