New Colour Soul play their biggest headline of 2005 in Dublins premier music venue, Whelans of Wexford Street on Thursday 4th August. Following the success of their recent Meteor award nomination and nationwide shows, the band will be unveiling brand new material from their forthcoming debut album along with some live favourites. Some live tracks from the bands recent appearance on Red FM are available at www.newcoloursoul.com

Support on the night comes from two great acts. Firsty, the incredibly talented guitar duo Alex & Jamie, who's flamenco and jazz guitar stylings remeniscent of Roderigo y Gabriela, The Gypsy Kings and Paco DeLucia have gained them huge respect and critical acclaim, while still both at the tender age of 18. Next on the bill is Dublin solo artist Jonathan Casey, whos CV reads like a who's who of the Irish music industry. Having performed in the Olympia and Vicar Street with the likes of Jack L and Bell X1 as well as a tour of Japan with King Crimson violinist David Cross, Jonathans craft has gained him many influential supporters and brought him far an wide across the globe. Thankfully it's also brought him to Whelans on the 4th with New Colour Soul. More at www.jonathancasey.com
