I work in tech support, have been for the last 4 years, but am not certified, was thinking about doing CCNA but is MCSE more beneficial to my current career, read that there will be a skills shortage in CCNA in the next few years hence the reason for getting certified now.

    Anyone any advice

    Cheers

Good advice as usual from WWM, don't do a course / learn a skill that bores you to the point where you have no desire to work in that field.

Having said that, if you are looking for soft skills, you could look into ITIL certification - it is basically process driven IT support management, and increasingly more popular with IT management. Boring as hell though.
