And when did you last hear of anyone with an automobile? They don't even talk about them in America anymore. They've been replaced by cars & SUVs!

As for me, I won't touch new technology without a pay rise :D

Hello there, and welcome to 1977! :D

This reminds me of watching 'Look Around You' last night on the telly or something (actually, come to think of it, next weeks episode is about computers so check it out if you've got a chance. I've seen that episode before and it's really funny)!

/Professor Frink voice/ - "I predict that within 100 years computers will be twice as powerful, 10,000 times larger and so expensive that only the five richest kings of Europe will own them. Ummm...glaven! :D

Well, TearLine, it seems the PC has caught on, but at what a terrible price: there's nobody left on earth with a sense of humour, or else everybody is 12. I don't know which is worse.

have you heard of the internet?
its the protective padding inside my work clothes.

I'm afraid to buy a computer. Looking after a mouse is a big responsibility. I just know I'll forget to feed it.

There are people out there(not me) who think that because of the problems of malware, spyware etc that pc's will soon be on the way out. There are also some who have said that this is the reason Ibm sold off their Pc division.

But enough of all that, I agree with former posters this thread is ****!

Carl: Have you heard about this inter-net thing?
    Lenny: Internet?
Carl: Yeah it's the inner netting they invented to line swim trunks. It provides a comforting snugness.
