    Hi - just looking for advice on overclocking,
    its a 1.7ghz celeron,
    What to do,
    what precautions to take?

    Firstly, does ur motherboard support overclocking? if yes make sure you have a good copper heatsink and fan or water cooling, celerons arent great over clockers so i'd say you'll get it to 1.9-2ghz, just because it boots when its at 2.2ghz doesnt mean its stable, use prime95(www.mersenne.org/freesoft.htm) to test your overclock. do you actually know howto overclock?

    No, just hearing alot about it lately and wondering, not sure what type of MB suppose if i restart the machine, i can get this info,

    is there any links out there, probably not worth it, if it will only bring it up to around 2ghz

    Best thing would be to read up more and go thru the tweakin/modding forum dude. Its not as easy as it looks!!(trust me voice of experience in the wrong way!!!!)
