The Mission: To get a bronze of Rory's Strat put in and around Rory
Gallagher Coner in Dublin's Temple Bar. The idea is to put a bronze of
Rory's strat underneath his street sign in Temple Bar Dublin "Rory Gallagher
Corner" All were helpful and enthusiastic Rory's Brother Dónal, Fender, OPW,
DIT, Temple Bar Properties, with one exception,
The National Photog raphic Library of Ireland, who replied:

"We are totally opposed to the idea as they feel it would adversely impact
on the identity of the Archive" :mad:

I consider this an insult to Rory, his contribution to Irish music and
culture at home and all over the world, to his fans and to musicians in
general. :mad:
