    Kinda lame really... still, Longhorn was even worse of a name, so there was not much lower they could go with the "real" name...

    iWin would have been a classic name, and there would be endless puns, ENDLESS!

    I don't know if anyone else called windows xp "Windows Sexplease", but we sure did.

    Seriously they say August 06, (windows 95 was originally due in August 94.) And even then it won't have the full set of features promised so my guess is that 2007 before we get real deal.

    And I'd still say most new major Microsoft products/technologies take three attempts to get it substantially right.. ( I count 98 to be a release of 95 and most of XP technology was based on 2000 )

    Id say your right, plus i wonder does it have x64 support or will there be different releases for 64 bit.
