Could it get anymore boring?

Unfortunately I've watched nearly every episode from the start this year and I've got to say it's boring me to tears. The housemates this year are all braindead. I mean Eugene is one of the favourites FFS. Has anyone noticed the distinct lack of alcohol as well this year? Maybe that's why it's so boring.

Someone at work summed it up the other day. The winner will not win because he/she deserves it. They will win because they are the least wanker of a group of ****.

    Agree? Disagree?

yeah, i stopped watching it this week.
i get my brother to call me if anything interesting happens....needless to say he has yet to call me

i like eugene though, he's so boringly stupidly amusing.

Disagree. Its had more fights in it then in any other series and BB is having more fun with them with the Date and the counting task.

I agree. I think they are without doubt the thickest group yet in the house. For example, at the moment, they are all so easily manipulated by Derek against Science. I don't think for instance so many of last year's contestants would be as easily lead. Maybe it's the fact that they are so young (bar Derek) this year.

As for the drink, I think they are getting the same amount as (if not more than) last year. Most nights they seem to have wine and beer.

I don't think the whole series in general has been boring, I just think that they peaked too soon.
And as it's nearing the end of the series most of the characters that would cause conflict have been evicted. Sadly it's a tradition on BB to evict the HMs that create the most friction.

I agree with some things and disagree with others.

I agree that it will be someone that doesnt deserve it to win. It will be a case of the least dislike this year walking out that door last. None of them have had decent personalities apart from Science and Eugene, and Eugene showed a very dark sinister side to him. (not saying Science is innocent/great/faultless)

They're all playing follow the leader and cant use their own minds. That sort of stuff bugs me. As far as the alcohol goes, I do think its less than previous years. Its more spread out, and they dont have access to as much. Thank God for that because we've seen what their volatile natures can do without alcohol.

Previous years they had a few adults in the mix and were able to deal with the alcohol issue better. The adults were also able to take charge when things got out of hand. Last year and because of Fight Night, along with their immature attitudes to alcohol along with the lack of any real adults in there, has cause the alcohol to be more controlled.

Shame really, that only fame-hunters went in this year. I'd love for it to go back to the way it was for BB 1, 2, 3 and the real experiement.

Bring back the 24 hr tasks as well.

I agree that just lately I've found it boring. Too many rows. These people could pick a fight in an empty room. This is the only year where I don't want anyone to win!

Wouldn't that be lovely! On the final night evict the final three in one fell swoop and announce that there will be no winner this year. The ultimate evil BB :D

Give the money to who? Charity? The bomb victims?

At least something would be done with the money though.

Thinking about it, Science woud probably do something with it but the rest of them wouldn't.

Derek - he said he was the only property owner (sneering at Who-gene and Science while saying it) and said he would be getting red bills. He could use the money to pay them off or would probably buy more £80 hankies. Worthy? I think not.

Who-gene - buy loads of lightbulbs to add to the colllection, or buy more TV's and recording equipment to let the world know whit it sounds like when they go off the cliffs. Worthy? I think not.

Kemal - buy loads of high heels seeing as he's ruined the heels on all his shoes. Worthy? I think not.

Makosi - buy more weaves and lipgloss. Worthy? I think not.

Bore-la - buy more exfoliating stuff, make up, lipgloss, tan, get her roots done. Worthy? I think not

Craig - buy video surveillance equiptment so he can monitor Antneee. Worthy? I think not.

Anthony - buy more Tango tan, maybe even learn to dance. Buy loads of hoses. Worthy? I think not.

    Give it to charity. :D

having done the LUT on channel4.com and digi spy, i am finding myself sitting around doing bog all while they all go to bed at 12 o clock. i wish that there was more activity during the night time.

i have a funny feeling though that derek intends to give the money to a good cause. i dont know what it is, i cannot put my finger on the reason why i feel this way.

my memory is like that of a goldfish, but I remember him saying something about the money and that he was going to give it away. he quickly changed the subject about the money when he mentioned it. i got the impression that he was not going to keep it himself.

as for going back to normal, there is a busy hurricane season underway, i have been trying to follow that but i keep ending up back with BB. it has happened every year since BB3

oh as an aside, i think i am better than these housemates, so much so i m going to audition for BB7

the way i look at it is this

I lived in a house with 14 brothers and sisters. they all hated the sight of each other, every once in a while one left, the last one standing got the mother and fathers house. estimated value 100,000 pounds. growing up for me was like big brother lasting 20 years.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,178 ✭✭✭Bamboozled

Well... no professional Big Brother-ers so em.. no. You'd walk away with the prize.

Hey it might not be too late to win this years for you!

(Wow - 14 brothers and sisters!! you dont hear about big families any more)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,811 ✭✭✭✭billy the squid

nah will wait till next year. the hardest part is getting into the house. if i did that then i wouldnt care if i won or not

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,178 ✭✭✭Bamboozled

Well seeing as they're all abnormal this year, maybe normal people will be the unusual ones at the auditions.

Abnormal are now the normal. Normal are the abnormal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,811 ✭✭✭✭billy the squid

stop it now! you are starting to confuse me.

    :D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,178 ✭✭✭Bamboozled

    I'm confusign myself.

Though confusion is the winner inthis years BB. Look at Craig. How he managed to saty in is beyond me. Same with Kemal. Maybe its alll the rage at them mo.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,811 ✭✭✭✭billy the squid

I dont think kemal is as bad a character as Craig. craig seems to have slipped under the radar.. i have a funny feeling if craig and kemal were up for eviction , craig would go.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,178 ✭✭✭Bamboozled

Craig is a worse threat (treath? dunno how to spell it)
He's got Anthony which amkes them the stronger "group" because all the rest have switched alliances - Kemal included.

So I do agree that Craig would probably go if they were both up.

I think Kemal is more harm to himself than anyone else is to him. His imagination runs wild, and he thinks he's so intelligent that the scenarios that he comes up with are convincing - to him.

I dont know kemal personally, but i have read his columns from esctoday.com. he is a funny guy. i would prefer him to stay than craig. kemal needs to snap out of this mole paranoia that he is caught in.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,178 ✭✭✭Bamboozled

Kemal's column. Oh! I didnt realise he had one.
I'd rather they were all put out and a few of the last shows winners and second places put in, and the show let run for the last few weeks like that ...

We already know most of those characters and it would be an experiement to see how those individuals managed, rather than one controller like Derek and the rest being sheep.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,811 ✭✭✭✭billy the squid

yeah, kemal is a colmnist (sp) for a eurovision fansite esctoday.com he was given presss accreditation for the eurovision song contest this year but never turned up as he was in hiding for big brother.

Aw. Shame. I think he would have been better off doing that than BB. His commentaries on BB are quite good and witty, and he's quite a performer.
