How can I delete old Playlists in Windows Media Player

I deleted the C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player directory.
I deleted the C:\Documents & Settings\Username\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Media Player directory - removed all temp files on the hard drive.
I then upgraded to Windows Media Player 10 - unfortunatly all the old Playlists are still there - how can I delete them?

    Is it a reg entry?

    Thanks

When you open WMP click on the library tab. On the left pane you should be able to look at your files sorted in various groups. Playlists is one of these. Click on it to open the list and you will see all the playlists on your computer.

Right click on each one you don't want and click delete. It will come up with the option of whether you want to remove the playlist from the library only or from the entire harddrive. You can decide yourself as deleting it from the harddrive will remove the audio files you have aswell.
