Read this on Skysports. Looks like Real finally signed him.

What a player he is for €25 million. Cheaper then Shaun Wright phillips.
Owen must be getting worried now.

Seems that Robinho has waved his own 40% of the transfer fee just to push through the transfer.

Thats a great signing for them alright. I don't think there was much doubt he would be playing for anyone else. And cheaper than SWP

Was it 25 million euro? Or are you talking in pounds? Edit: I just saw the Euro sign :o

Not sure what this means for Owen, this deal has been on the cards for ages, it was waiting to happen really. I can't see him coming back to the Premiership during this window anyway, maybe after another half a season at Real it will be different.

Owen is going to be really keen to play regular football before the World Cup.
So He may have to bite the bullet and go back to england to play.

Robinho is a class act and it will be hard for owen to get a game with him there. especially since Luxembargo signed Robinho. Owen is a former managers purchase which makes Luxembargo more likely to play the players He bought.

Owen will be flogging himself to ManU and Liverpool - maybe Baros out and Owen in?

Looking forward to seeing Robinho in the CL :)

Owen is out in the cold now big time. Interesting to see what he does.

Football365 reckon its £28.7m, his buy out clause is $50m and they decided to pay it although it has to be split between the player, agent and club aparently.

Its going to look like a bargain though in 2 or 3 years time. He's going to be a big player for real.

Sprinkles: the buy out clause was $50 million but the agent and Robinho own 40% of robinho.

So they waved there 40% which is $20 million and Real now only have to pay $30 million dollars to the club which is approximately €25 million.
