I got my self a set of logitec X-530 speakers. I have them hooked up to a dell inspiron 9300 via a Hercules USB surround sound. Thing is I can get the 5.1 surround sound to work. Have all ready checked the sound out put (control panle- sound and audio devices) and it is set to 5.1. DId the same in HL 2 settings still no…

Any ideas?

JUst unplugged the usb from the usb hub (must only be a usb 1.o) to one of the pc usb 2.0 ports and all is well!
