Another Wah problem

    I know ther was another thread but my problem is different and probably wont get answered.

    Basically when i turn on the wah and bring the pedal all the way back to the "closed" position i get a loud hum (not the normal guitar type hum..more of an interfference type hum).
    im thinkin it might be the pot but im not sure...any ideas anyone?

    nah this has been goin on for years i wanna start usin the pedal again loadsa different leads and amps still the same
