Omaha High books?

Want to buy a book or two on Omaha but not too sure which ones are worth it. A quick search of amazon produces

    1) Poker - Omaha. Andy Nelson

    2) Winner's Guide to Omaha Poker - Ken Warren

    3) Championship Omaha - TJ Cloutier

    4) How Good Is Your Pot Limit Omaha? - Stewart Reuben

I only really want to splash out on any books if they are a bit more advance than 'Beginner'. I'm happy enough with my own game to be confident of making money at the lower online limits but I'd like to get any books that would help me out as I move up limits.

So I look at the poker forum and I see that NickyOD has replied to my thread. "Nicky's a decent player, more experienced than I am, he'll probably have made an informative post that answered my questions."

    :(

You should listen to him. After all isn't he going pro! He must know stuff! ;):p

I have Championship Omaha on my wish list. I must of read a good review somewhere. I know I had other omaha books on it too but I seem to have deleted them.

    3) Championship Omaha - TJ Cloutier

I have this but havent read it yet

    4) How Good Is Your Pot Limit Omaha? - Stewart Reuben

lol. very sorry. I've never read a single omaha book since I don't really play the game except for th eodd online multi if the mood takes me. I'd actually be interested to know what the good one's are. TJ's new book is actually the old one in a new cover and from what I hear its not particularly good.

Is TJ's book more about tournament Omaha than cash game omaha?

All you need to know is to play all the hands that look purdy. ;)

    Like AAAA and KKKK?

I seem to remember being educated to the fact that AAAA is the 2nd nuts to a KKK flop.

    It was Hector.....something, i think!

the 'how good is ur pot limit omaha' is a great fun read, but not for beginners!
man, what a wild cash player.

I think Negreanau has a chapter in the new Super System 2 on Omaha.

Hodges Figgis should have in 20 copies of Harrington's 2nd title next week. should have, but may not...

give them a call on 6774754.

    cheers, d.

if so then i'm gonna have to get hold of a copy pretty quickly as i intend to enter the €380 omaha scalps tournament in the fitz this weekend with pokerfest credit to burn :D

Lyle Berman wrote the omaha chapter in Super Sytem 2. It's definitely a good beginners guide but I'm sure some of the other books cover the subject in greater depth. I actually bought the book mainly for the omaha chapter as I couldn't find any of the other books that deal with that sick game,

Yeah, I've got SS2 and the Omaha section is decent but not that advanced. Looking for something with a bit more detail.

Rolf's PLO collumn in Cardplayer is very good. I've heard Phill Hellmuth's Play poker like the pro's covers some good PLO strategy but may not be advanced enough.

Hellmuths section is good, its basically adivce he recieved from Ted Forrest. Have Rubens book, I'd reccomend this as it really gets you thinking about playing certain draws/hands in different situations.

I've always wondered how to pronounce his second name. Chee-a-fone? See-a-fi-ony?
