OK, I'll leave out pro's and con's as it will take ages:

    England
    Scotland
    France
    Germany
    Italy
    Sweden
    Denmark
    Spain & Canary Islands
    Switzerland
    Singapore
    Sumatra in Indonesia
Conneticut in the U.S. of darn tootin' A.

Want to see, in no particular order:

    Vietnam
    Laos
    Thailand
    Japan
    Borneo (soon)
    Sumatra again
    Nepal
    India
    Austrailia
    Loads of South America
    The Amazon
    Los Angelas
    Hollywood
    Mount Everest
    Mount Blanc (from the top)
    Egypt
    The Artic
    Antartica
    Moscow
    Alaska
    Canada
    The Rockies (America or Canada)
    The Grand Canyon

And if at all possible the planet Earth from orbit. A whole life time of travel there I think.

I do have a life's dream to see the sun rise and set on all of the worlds oceans. I have to be standing on Land (or Ice) when I see it, not on a boat or something. I have to see them from different places and not on a small island or something, although I might make an exception for the Antartic Ocean.

Hmmm... I'm slightly less well travelled.

    France - dunno 6, 7, maybe 8 times.

Been all over France. I liked Nice best, great city, good night life - especially in Summer.

England - I don't really count this as travelling.

Milan - cool city. nice italian women too.

Monte Carlo - not allowed into casinos cause I didn't have a tux on. Expensive.

USA - Boston + Phoenix. I like Boston, nice city, made some good friends there, or near there anyway.

    That's it.

I went to the North once too - does that count? I waited in Portadown for a lift. Nice place to be a young Catholic alone.

outside of the standard european holiday destinations (england/germany/france and spain)..

    Singapore
    Australia (Darwin, Cairns & Sydney)
    Bulgaria
    Canada (Toronto)
    America (Orlando, NY, Boston, Buffalo)
    Andorra

A few hundred miles south of Darwin is Katherine Gorge, and is easily the most beautiful and stunning landscaped place I have ever been and ever will be, I'm planning(fingers crossed) to go back within the next year or so on my own and explore Australia properly at my own leisure, although as said above Vietnam and most of South Asia is stunningly beautiful as well, its a hard choice.

Ibiza - Bout 15 Years ago, it was me that started that whole dance scene there.

    Majorca, god.....no.

    Wales - Zzzzz, nice scenery

Crete, Greece, good place, fun nightlife, good places to visit too.

Gran Canaria, Tenerife, tackyland, loadsa HOT sun. Cheap drink and electronics.

Florida, Tacky Touristy, Orlando, Cape Canaveral, Pensacola (Big Airbase), Plam Beach

Boston, Too humid, but really nice anyway, loadsa Irish.

New York - What a great place. Take a taxi from the Airport to the City, great fun.

Washington DC, Loadsa Monuments, Arlington was unreal, a cemetery with a subway station.
Smithsonians WOW, Air and Space Museum.

Virgina, Charlottesville, Uni of Virginia there, small town but nice and relaxed, green like Ireland but warm too, nice easy lifestyle, everyone carries loaded guns. Shenadoah Valley, what a place, so nice. I'd live in Virginia.

Russia, Moscow, dirt poor people, went when Gorby was still in power, lovely folks with nothing, the dollar is the blackmarket currency, biggest McDonalds in the world, Kremlin, Lenins Tomb, Music, Ballet, Great Circus, great Art Museums

St Petersburg, Russia, was Leningrad when I was there, amazing city, visit the Winter Palace, if u were to visit every exhibit for ten minutes in this art gallery and museum it would take 2 years to see it all. There were countless rooms with milliondollar paintings guarded by old ladies on chairs. had never seen a real life picasso before and then they have rooms of em.

Aeroflot plane trip to Russia getting drunk with Cubans down the back was interesting....

Loadsa art and tours, breathtaking. A place to see.

Kerry: passports controls a balls though.

I've not been too many places.

    Barbados ..
Paradise. Water is sooo warm. Rum and local beer cost nothing! St. Laurences gap is the place to go. There a sholes? of flying fish that swim up to the edge, so unpolluted!

Cons-: Timeshare sales people ..Dont give them youre name or hotel! Flight time 9hrs!

Wales .. like going to the country, cept the milk and the sausages are cr/\p. Grand if you've young'ns.

Blackpool .. long time ago now, but bit of fun, the residential bars in the hotels dont worry about closing time which is cool!

Santa Ponsa .. Lovely beaches , great sun, beers a bit iffy but cheap. Very family orientated during the day.

hmmm I was a couple of places not that many

    Tenerife :-
    Good points:
nice island with plenty to do and there is a night life as well
    Bad points:
I was with my family so I didn't get much of the night life frown.gif The locals

    Gran Canaria :-
    Good Points:
Swapped my family for 8 lads great crack and great nightlife. There is a huge carting ring that rocks (really fast carts and brilliant track)
    Bad Points:
Loads of tack compared to Tenerife and street traders were just to annoying. Needed a holiday after the holiday due to the hangover. The locals.

    Corfu (stayed in messongi):-
    Good Points:
Really Really nice place loads to see if your into history and plenty of boats trips available. The apartments (Irinni) were basic but plenty of space and very very clean. There was only 15 apartments in the place and always loads of sun beds. Easy island to get around just hire a moped for a couple of days. Food was great and the locals were very friendly. Just in case anyone has ever stayed here all I can say is "Dandas Chips" hhhhmmmmmmmm.
    Bad Points:
None really bar the lack of night clubs in the town we were staying plenty of ****tail bars and disco bars though.

    Rhodes :-
    Good Points:
Great island more history to see than you can shake a stick at. Loads of good shops and all that sort of stuff. There was a night life and saw Dave Morales over there in a very nice club. The Medieval part of Rhodes town rocked it was so cool. You can also hop over to Turkey for a day trip if you want.
    Bad Points:
I was a bit disappointed with the hotel but it was fine (I think I got my hopes up to high). It got a bit to hot some days it hit 45 C which is just a bit over the top imho.

    London :-
What can I say a great place for a weekend trip.

And I cannot leave out Rosscarberry in Co Cork boi' Man that's a cool place to go for a nice weekend (if you want to see it just watch the war of the buttons on sunday night) If you going to wonder on down this way (best if you have your own car) just me a shout and I'll let you know some lovely places to go (esp. if your going with your other half). Ohhh ya the drink is dirt cheap as well smile.gif

This year I'm heading to San Diego and then on to San Francisco I'll let you know how I got on when I get back.

UK, London (mostly passing through - dislike immensely), Bath (OK) and Fishguard (overnight).

Germany - Koln (naked chicks in public park biggrin.gifbiggrin.gif), Bonn, Dusseldorf, Phantasialand amusement park (quite good).

Belgium (don't fall asleep on the night train, it ends up in Berlin) - Brussels, Ostende (I fell like I've been in that train station too much) & Ypres / Messines.

The Netherlands - Valkenburg (the Killarney of The Netherlands), Eindhoven, Amsterdam (airport only - they didn't want to let me out).

France - Paris, Chartres, some tiny village in the south west.

Spain - Pyrennes, Lanzarote (half-naked chicks at pool / beach biggrin.gif), Fuerteventura (daytrip - naked chicks at beach biggrin.gifbiggrin.gif), going to Gran Canaria in August.

New York - uber big, needs at least 2 weeks.

San Francisco / San Jose - you need transport.

Kill, kill, kill the laser mice.

Kento - I basically went there to a ski resort, but its like any country in that area really, lots of traders on the streets trying to peddle cheap crap to you. I went on a day-trop to Sofia and was not impressed one bit, its is a nice enough capital (sight wise) but it just seemed so dead of life and dirty, mind you this was in '96, things may have moved on a bit (everyone still going around in ladas and 70s mercedes), perhaps if you were spending a few days there you may have an idea of the nightlife and atmosphere, these days it could very well be like Warsaw or Croatia (which Ive heard good things about).
