Camping in Mayo...?

I'm heading to Croagh Patrick on Reek Sunday with some of the cave rescue guys who have been asked to lend a hand to the first aid teams (we do alot of stretcher hauling...) I was thinking of doing some caving while there - but all the caves are either near the north coast, or on the Galway border, whereas Croagh Partick is beside westport...
So; does anyone know a good place we can camp on the friday night in north or south Mayo??

managed to find a contact near lough corrib that has offered us the use of a field for the night.

also did some checking on some of the caves in mayo - found an interesting description of one nearish westport... part of the description reads:

    ”it was
necessary to swim along the ‘warm’ canal to the
duck... three inches of airspace over 14 feet depth of
water... still swimming through a small passage with
helmet off and body in a horizontal face-up position
into a further complicated series of passages with up
    to 20 feet of water"

    sounds like fun =0)
