    Hi,

Thinking about selling my current PC, and building a new one. The following are my current PC specs, can anyone give me a rough estimation of what it's worth. I have a price in my head, but not overly sure if its realistic. Its a Dell pc.

    Thanks.

    P4 3.4ghz w/HT
    1Gig pc3200 ram
    Ati x800se PCI
    160gig HD
    DVD-RW
    CD-RW
    No floppy drive

    17" Tft Screen

on parts alone id say a fair price would be 800-1000 considering second hand :P
but if you flog it to a noob you could easily get 1400 for it

1400 ? Jesus thats a lot of money. Could be built new for less than that really easily. Theres always the buy and sell though...

Easily could get over a grand.

    It's a good computer, even though it's a dell.

I'd say maybe €700 to €800 max, considering it's second hand maybe a bit less.

    Rough breakdown I'd say:
    Mobo/CPU 150-200
    RAM 100
    Hard disk 100
    Graphics 200
    DVD/CD 50 for both
    Monitor 150

    Considering it's a Dell, €50 in total :p

Does anyone actually buy anything from the Buy andSell anymore? Even noobs without a clue surely know when they are being robbed.

    I'd say €750 to €900.

Thanks lads, to be honest, I think I'll just sell the x800se, get a 6800, and throw in another gig of ram....the cpu will do for a long while yet....

Couldn't be arsed buying all new parts and building a new pc! :p

jor el, your average joe is a lot worse than a clueless noob. he's never even heard the noob...

Good decision MobileInfantry, that pc has good specs other than the x800. no point in makin work for yourself
