I have heard that they play poker here, is this true?

If so what is it like (are the games any good, what are the buy-ins, how many runners)?

Also what is the dress code for casinos in Dublin and does it vary from place to place?

    Thanks in advance

Red Cow re-starts Monday September 5th with a €50 plus €15 that will run every Monday night. This is a nl hold em with one re-buy and 100% of prizepool paid out. Prize fund is estimated @ €12,000 with 10% of the total field finishing in the money.
Dress code is casual as is most casinos that I have visited.
City West with be a 350plus 35 freezeout in late October/November with a €75,000 estimated prizepool. Full listings for all these events will be posted on www.pokerevents.ie in the coming weeks.

Are the monday tournaments any way linked to the big one in oct/nov, do you get a seat in it if you win. Also will there be satellites for the big one in Oct/Nov. Thanks ?

    €50 + 15 is pretty steep isn't it?

This cost is subsidised as it actually costs more to produce these events. Pokerevents will not make any profit from the actual tournament itself only on a fee from our on-line partners. Also costs include hot/cold refreshments for all players.
Have you being at any of our events?

Yes the weekly events will feed the City West freezeout with top finishers recieving tickets.
There will be satellites on the day.
