    Hey,

I'm looking for a decent cooler for my LGA775 P4. I'm using the stock cooler right now, but it's loud and doesn't really work very well (60-70 degrees on startup, and it recently it hasn't been going under 65 degrees even when it's idle).

I'm in the US for the summer, so I'm looking to get something off the internet - so I'm really just looking for a recommendation of a decent cooler for under about $40-50. Noise level is very important.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

i'll be getting this soon for my 478 2.8p4, i've heard good things about it, although one of the reviews on komplett said it couldn't run in silent mode with the 775

looks really nice with the blue led, ah i see there that silent mode can't be used with the prescott, even so, still wouldn't really put me off

What do u mean silent mode cant be used with prescott?? U mean turning the fan speed down? I turn it down when im just working on the desktop and then put it on full when i play games. Even on high i really cant hear the fan, its amazing.
