Anyone here ever ordered off Musik Productiv? I know that most people will have ordered from Thomann at one time or another but I have never...

What's the deal with them? Are they reliable etc...?

    And Musik-Productiv?

Thomann are fine. I went to order a drum stool off Music Productiv which they said was in stock, then mailed to say it wasn't in stock and would I like to wait or cancel the order. So I can't really grumble about them. I think Fey ordered something a while back from them?

Musik Productiv are grand. Slightly more expensive shipping than thomann for heavy things but items can be cheaper. And they don't require a photocopy of your credit card for orders over €300.

Do you have to e-mail it or mail it normally? That's crazy...

You can email I think but it's a joke. They should have a system in place but alas, they don't.

How do you know if something is in stock with M-P...?

Do you need to e-mail them and ask?

Musik-produktiv is only €20 for all shipping now

Only for goods up to 30kg according to their website.

As for items being out of stock, when you order the goods, it'll say on the docket that's emailed to you. Or of course, you can email or ring them. I rang them before and was talking to a chap with extremely good English. Better than some of the people from this country :p

I've bought quite a few odds and ends from thomann before, and found them very reliable.

Thomann are kind of **** for out of stock products.
ordered a Gemini mixer off them 10 days ago.
checked the site yesterday and saw that it was now listed as being in stock. sent them an email asking when i could expect it to ship, they replied with "Just waiting for the Geminin to arrive with us, shoudl be early next week"

very speedy customer support via email though (albeit badly spelt :p )
