It may interest all our budding clay target shooters that an Irish man won the British Open Down The Line Championship at Loch Ness Gun Club last weekend.
County Meaths Jason Coffey shot a max possible score of 300 points to claim the title from a field of 340 competitors with Donegals Gerry Harrison coming third on a score of 298 points.
At the international team event, Ireland had to settle for joint third with a single point seperating three teams out of a possible 6000 points.
