i've always just used a Zoom 606 pedal for playing around at home but i just got a Boss me50 and im still messing around on it and was wondering if anyone has any cool settings for effects they'd like to suggest to help me get started with it.

My amp is a Marshall MG30 DFX and im playing a Epiphone Les Paul Standard and a Takamine EG530SC

    cheers

Distortion knob all the way left.
Drive, Bottom and Tone all the way right.
    Level to suit.

Look, this has been my guitar upbringing to date.

    Plug Fender into amp. Play.

I can't even fathom what a yoke like the ME 50 does. Patches and banks are so utterly beyond me. A couple of years ago i got a zoom 505 as a present, and to this day i haven't worked out how to use the thing. Very soon i'll be putting it up on FS - for a case of stella.

I've split off this thread to keep it clean.

    Sorry about hijacking Speedway.
