Retrieve files from erased CD-RW?

    Hey folks,

Just after a reformat where I had all the really important files backed up on CDRW (stupid idea now, looking back at it...) and of course, it was erased (via Windows XP built in cdrw handling and some major incompetence on my part, won't bore ye with that bit). Anyone have any idea if I can retrieve these files at all? I've tried downloading various programs (cdroller, badcopy, cd/dvd diagnostic) and all have failed to find any files, let alone retrieve any, which leads me to wonder if they're still there at all!??
Please help! (and thanks in advance for ANYthing ye can do!)

once it hasn't been written over again, you could give ISObuster a shot, google it.

The only problem is that you'll have to register it to retrieve files from a cdrw, had this problem with a disc that fooked up, had to pay for registration, really needed the files :o
