    Welcome to the boards!

We got the cheap one from www.altservices.co.uk but to be totally honest any bow higher than 32lbs shot arrows right through to the flights. The net wasn't very expensive though!

Yeah the stuff on ASS is good, or if you can get your hands on a load of carpet that will work as well.

a bale of hay with a few sheets of cardboard also works pretty well. although from the sounds of it this may not be what your lookin for but any body who was wonderin about homemade butts,
    there ya go.
    glad ta be of service.!!

Muffin, i hope you're not prowling around san diego nickin bales of hay and shootin them!!!!!
As regards the net question, any of it that seems any good is generally expensive. A weaker net isnt too bad once you dont have a wall right behind it. You might lose a fletch or two goin through, but it'll take th power out of the shot enough that it should just drop the far side.

unless of course you happen to be a certain maynooth archer who puts it through both a net and continued into the small viewing pane in a door, think baggins put it well,

somehow i think picking off curious passerby's ain't the way ta promote the sport, although as many famous people have said along with a couple a wise men an general randomers there's no such thing as bad publicity,
i mean ul will have a flood of taker upers of the sport when the locals realise the potential, a sawn off is just so blasse these days you know like i mean oh my god girlfriend (sorry americanism rubbin off me, quick baggins a thwacking is order)
