Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How to host a ****tail party

My mates and I have this thing going:

We pick 40 odd close friends and issue each with an invite and a *specific* bottle of booze. (various numbers of each ie: more people get Vodka then Advocat!)

Once everyone arrives (in formal wear, they must wear tuxes and dresses smile.gif ) you have a damned good bar set up for a c0cktail party!

The hosts should provide Icecream and fresh fruit (for smoothies!) and mixers. Jazz works well and it all starts off very civilised. However if you are good at math you'll realise that if everyone brings a bottle, and the bar is emptied (as it inevitably is!) then everyone on average has drunk a bottle of booze!
As the night wears on bits of clothing tend to be discarded and everyone gets very very very drunk.

Trust me, its a damned good way to party!

Theres a few on the boards that have been at such a party and I might have pics around here smile.gifsmile.gif

I been to the same ****tail parties DeV mentions above. There a cool night out! And you get to dress up like you belong in a Bond movie.

    Favourite ****tail: Long Vodkas

Oddly, since we use a huge amount of fresh fruit and icecream in the ****tails (mixed by yours truly!) people never seem to have bad hangovers. Of course frequently they are still badly drunk the next day as the party rarely ends before sun-up.

We've had one particular party that just went on and on and there were people there 2 days later. We politely asked them to leave at that point smile.gif

Got invited to one of these affairs by a friend - to one of his friend's house, who I had met before.

There was about 12-15 of us, but "unfortunately" the bottles outnumbered the patrons by 3 to 1 (damn they even had Creme de Banane and Grenadine) - we took a lot of causualties early on. The host had to be carried upstairs by 4 of us to sleep it off - at 10 o'clock. By 1:30am I was wasted and my left elbow was being righted by a breasted fondle. wink.gif

The lads doing the BBQ didn't realise that the reason the food wasn't cooked (not that they realised the food wasn't cooked) was because it was lashing rain outside.

Dance aerobics competition on Euro Sport proved popular.

Card game broke down into acrimonious argument over the calls in 'Pontoon' (not enough cards to go around).

WARNING: Never try to drink a full shot of Grenadine - its like ... extreme.

Too many freaks, not enough circuses.
