Hi, I am looking for a good joining software that can join avi files and also supports divx/xvid codec.

I have tried Easy Video Joiner but when finished there was no sound the quality of the video had got very picsilated around movement.

So does anyone have any advice...

append avi segment and direct stream copy in virtual dub should do it, not 100% cos i haven't done it before but maybe if someone could verify?

When I was splitting downloads (due to max file size on the server) I used "type" in dos to join files. Use:

    type *.avi > filename.avi
