Just wondering if the pre-built PCs on Elara are any good?

    http://www.elara.ie/products/extreme.asp

I know it could probably use a better video card, but the rest of the spec doesnt seem too bad for the money, built and ready to go.

    any comments?

Also, with regards to a post i saw earlier, where is the best place to buy a cheap yet effective surge protector for a PC?

    putting a RADEON™ 9600XT 128MB in a 939 board is bad

It has the RADEON™ 9600XT 128MB TV Out+DDR as its mobo only has an AGP connection for graphics...bad idea for future upgrades!!!

Try out komplett fot surge protection or your local electrical store...maplins..etc
