Metal Gear Solid Special Missions Question

Can this add-on disc be played on a ps2, or only on a psx? Every time I insert MGS after putting in the Special Missions disc, I get a 'wrong disc' message. Does anyone know if it can be played on ps2?

It can't be played on the PS2. I had to go hunting for my PS1 (which now only works upside-down ) a while back as I wanted to get my scores/ratings from the game.
