Twenty20 bowl-out

    Anyone watch the bowl-out in the Twenty20 quarter final against Surrey And Warwickshire on Sky Sports News

    Game was tied so they had 5 bowlers from each side bowling two balls each to try and hit the stumps, one point each for a hit. Surrey ended up winning 4-3 in sudden death, Tim Murtagh with the winning bowl and whipping off his shirt while running around the ground, crazy stuff!

    Not one for the purists I think :D

    Cockup by the umpires.... playing conditions state in the event of a tie in the knockout stages of the Twenty20, its a bowl out. They were off the pitch for 20 minutes or more. An ECB official had to tell the umps.

    bowl out is a terrible idea. THey should give each team 2 overs, and whoever gets the most runs in those wins.
