WHY do they always end episodes leaving me wanting more?!? Damn them and their cliffhangers! :D I thought that episode was fantastic; I'm dying to know more about this Ethan guy now...

    Terrible!
a little dissapointed with the repetitive format, think thats it with Lost for me.

Might pick up the dvd when it comes out and watch it all within a short space of time.

geez thats the whole point! leaves you wanting more...what would the point be in giving you every answer to every question in a few eps,for me...thos cliff hangers just leave you wanting to see it more, you cant wait until next week...

Definitely an improvement on the previous episodes. This one actually had a little suspense! But not an awful lot. Good cliffhanger ending in fairness, so I'll probably be watching again next week.

indeed...i have dsl,and have seen the whole season, but i still had to wait a week between eps as well, as did most people who got it from their *cough* cousins...we were in the same boat as you...except we didnt have ads or those annoying O2 things! :D

its worth watching the rest of the season...

    What's Poverty 2?

Yeah I thought it was an excellent episode, the austrailian girls story stands as the best one so far. (Bit of "Deirdre of The Sorrows" vibe to it)

I don't mind the RTE add's I had forgot about them by the time the show came around.

I know one person from Austraila who was giving out that RTE don't do the Next On after any of the shows from America.

Also those of you with DSL and Cosins are still waiting around for next season. Is their a major cliffhanger at the end of this season?

I hope RTE get to show Season 2 in Dec or Jan.

Dont count on RTE to show anything mate !!!!!

Last nights ending was the best so far IMO. Roll on next Monday (Jaysus I'm hoping for a Monday, have lost it (pardon the pun) now :)

If one has DSL and wanted to get to know a "cousin" that had all the episodes, where would one do that....

me sees that is not a good question to ask... scrap that...

I like the cliffhanger too, but I'd maybe prefer if they didnt have a huge one in practically every episode. It'd make them better when they do come along!

Having said that, last nights episode was amazing. Probably the best so far!

im just wondering, is the fact that everybody loves this episode, just for the twist at the end ? or for the whole episode(backstory included)?

what are people's thoughts on claire ? she's definitely my favourite character so far

Excellent , eposide , the end was very good , however can't wait a week for another one , what is he the Devil and the baby the anti-christ

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 409 ✭✭Dellgirl

what is he the Devil and the baby the anti-christ

Spank for phily for not using the full stops God gave him!! I had to read it 3 times.
I m wondering about that too. There are a couple of choices here I think.
1 - Yes, its the DEvils baby - but the boyfriend didnt look very demony.
2- Yes, it will be turned into the Anit-Christ if raised by evil people (natrually - as one does if raised by evil)
3- Its the Savior and yon psysic was a bad guy
4 - Baby is controling the circumstances of the crash etc therefore bad baby.
5 - The force on the island called the baby to come.

It was a good episode alright but I do feel at the end of each episode that I have watched more adds than program.

Is there a reason L5 voted "terrible"...no explanation...perhaps some loser who didnt like the show at the beginning, has stopped watching and votes terrible for the sake of it?

You should give the option of

I don't watch the show as isn't not good

To avoid people who don't watch the show.

Perhaps L5 genuinally thought the episode was terrible, I don't see how, even if you don't like the show it was above average.

I thought it was a very good episode overall, but what about the whispering that Sayid heard at the end of the previous episode? there was no mention of it, all he said was 'we are not alone' but that could have related to the french woman he found

as for favourite character, I thought that Locke and Sawyers background stories were the best, and they would be my top characters

[In honour of Blingarella I purposefully left out all full stops ;) ]

    I like 3 and 4, particularly 3.

It could be something simpler though, like the baby will be the next Hitler if Claire doesn't raise it.

I think the survivors have all been very fortunate in the looks department! Maybe all the ugly people died on the plane.

like the baby will be the next Hitler if Claire doesn't raise it.

Thats good, although he will have nowhere to invade if they dont get off the island.

How long is lost to go on for or has that not been determined as yet?

    It's all about ratings.

there's enough plans for give or take 5 seasons....but yeah it depends on ratings

And this will cause problems as if it stops after season 5 with a cliffhanger ending the audience will be left with a to be continued situation which will never be concluded.

E.g. Millenium, ending in an X-files episode.

The writters and actors need to decide themselfs when the show should finish for the sake of finishing the show rather then the show finishing because everyone is STILL waiting for them to be FOUND.

This isn't a critism of the show.
